Leisure rides are open to Members, Non club members, partners, family members, friends and competent juniors (accompanied) they are designed for people who want a slower sociable pace or may just want to get into cycling. If you know anyone bring them along!
Juniors must abide to the young rider policy as set out by the British Cycling Lets Ride Web Site.
Ride Description: 33miles in total
Ride heads towards Burtonwood then Haydock to reach Billinge and the first two hills. From here we drop down into Rainford and a well deserved break at a choice of cafes tbc.
After a break we head through the pretty village of Crawford then up tower hill. Down Alma hill and back to Billinge. We head back to the Swan via Ashton and over the East Lancs . Along Newton High street and onto The Swan for well deserved refreshment.
